Daily face care

Face care – How to take care of the skin step by step?

1. Purification

Cleansing is the first step in your daily skincare routine. To remove impurities and fat from the skin, facial cleansers are used. They are designed for all skin types, even sensitive. They contain ingredients that do not irritate the skin. There are different types of products for washing the face: foaming, in gel, in cream or based on oils. Foaming agents in contact with water are suitable for all skin types. Gel face wash products are best suited for oily skin, as they do not leave any deposits on its surface. Creamy or oily face wash products have a thicker texture, making them ideal for dry skin.

2. Toning

Toning is another important step in your skin care routine. Tonics are astringent lotions that help balance the pH level of the skin and remove excess oils from the surface of the skin. They also help get rid of impurities, sebum and dead cells from the pores, while narrowing the pores. They can be used at any time of the day, but be sure to use them after cleansing your face to avoid excessive drying of the skin. Some tonics also contain astringent ingredients such as witch hazel or alcohol, which narrow the pores and give a feeling of a slight “tightness” after use. Others contain soothing ingredients such as rose water or glycerin, which moisturize the skin, giving it a youthful look.

3. Exfoliation

Exfoliation helps prevent blackheads, blackheads, pimples and other pimples on the face by removing dead epidermal cells from the surface of the skin. It also increases blood circulation, which helps nourish the new cells under the skin so that they quickly come to the surface! There are many ways to exfoliate the epidermis, such as the use of chemical exfoliants such as glycolic acid or retinoids, which are available in the form of creams or serums. You can also use a scrub or a facial brush to exfoliate. In the case of dry skin, the use of scrubs should be avoided, as they can cause irritation. Instead, choose gentle exfoliants, such as oils or lotions, that won’t leave any marks on your face after use.

4. Nutrition

Nutrition, that is, providing the skin with minerals, oils and vitamins, is the best way to stop the inexorably ticking clock. This improves the condition of the skin, thanks to which the face is more pleasant to the touch, looks nice and looks great.

Nutrition of the skin of the face can be carried out in several ways:

  1. use creams designed specifically for facial care – they contain active ingredients that help nourish the epidermis of the face;
  2. use natural cosmetics with vitamins, essential oils and other ingredients that have a beneficial effect on the skin of the face;
  3. drink daily a sufficient amount of water – it is recommended to drink 2 liters per day;
  4. consume foods rich in dietary fiber (vegetables);
  5. do not smoke;
  6. wear sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 every day.

5. Moisturizing

Once the skin is clean and fresh, it’s time to moisturize! To moisturize the skin well, you need to choose moisturizing preparations adapted to the type of skin (dry, oily or combination) and its problem areas. For example, if you have dry skin with very visible wrinkles on your forehead and around your eyes, you will need a moisturizer with collagen only for that area. You can also use an ingredient like hyaluronic acid to help moisturize and give your skin a healthy glow. If you have oily skin with blackheads and pimples on the sides of your nose and on your chin, once or twice a week, apply a care mask with salicylic acid or zinc oxide. It will help to unclog the pores while preventing the pores from cracking.

What face cosmetics to use?

Face care cosmetics are an indispensable part of our daily lives. From moisturizer to foundation, cheek shade to mascara, from powder to lipstick, we use many different products to take care of our appearance. While we often believe that these products are for cosmetic purposes only, this is not true. Face cosmetics actually have two functions: they improve our appearance and keep the skin in good condition.

What facial cosmetics you choose is largely a matter of personal preference. However, there are some issues to keep in mind when choosing the best type of cosmetics for you. For example, if you have sensitive skin or are easily affected by pimples (especially around your eyes), it’s best to avoid alcohol-containing cosmetics. These ingredients can cause skin irritation and clog pores if left on the face for a long time. If you have oily or combination skin, look for lightweight moisturizers with mattifying substances such as salicylic acid or natural astringents such as witch hazel, which help reduce oily skin. We also recommend that you read our opinions on individual supplements such as: Premium Collagen 5000 or Royal Skin 500.

What is the best way to tone the face?

This method works best for drier skin types. If you want your skin to look younger and more radiant, use a non-alcoholic tonic containing aloe vera or green tea extract. For this type of tonic, it is best to use a cotton swab or cotton pad. Apply it in circular movements upwards, exerting little pressure (this will help to avoid evaporation).

A good tonic will contain an astringent substance that removes dead skin cells and narrows pores, as well as a moisturizer that nourishes the skin. There are tonics with different formulas, depending on individual needs, e.g. tonics designed specifically for acne skin. It is important to choose the right tonic for your skin type.

How to apply face cream correctly?

To apply the cream to your skin perfectly, you should follow these simple steps:

First, thoroughly clean your face with a mild cleanser. In this way, you will remove all makeup and impurities from the skin and open the pores, thanks to which the cream will be able to penetrate deeper into the skin more easily. Rinse your face with cool water.

After cleansing your face, dry it with a soft towel. The main thing is not to rub or scrub the face – this can irritate the delicate skin around the eyes, mouth and nose. If you feel that after cleansing your face you need to apply a moisturizer, now is the right time for it. After these activities, your skin is prepared for the application of the cream.

When applying the cream directly to the face, you should use a clean cotton swab or cotton pad if possible. Some prefer to apply the product with their fingers, while others with a brush.
